Ithuba infrastructure is the outcome of social architecture projects. Our model: buildings are planned in collaboration with students of architecture through university-based projects. Construction of buildings is done jointly by students and unemployed young people of the local communities. Through work-based learning youth is trained in construction and carpentry.
Ithuba is intrinsically linked to architecture, and all of our buildings have been thoughtfully designed to provide a beautiful, sustainable, and ergonomic learning environment.
