In the living and learning environments of our students, there are far fewer trees than in the suburban neighbourhoods in Johannesburg. This creates a much harsher climate, with little shade and wind protection. Moreover, it has the global dimension of being a symbol for climate change around the world.
Because of this, learners from grades 5 and 7 have taken action against climate change on the school grounds! Planting 50 trees on our Johannesburg campus, our teachers have also included special lesson plans covering climate change and its consequences.
