The “Ithuba Community College” project, about 40 km south-east of Johannesburg, started in 2008.

Ithuba Community College is meant to be more than just a school, it is a small town with residential buildings and workshops. In these workshops all necessary furniture, school uniforms and products are being manufactured. Furthermore, small and affordable “mini-shacks” (housing) are being established to accommodate European students and teachers during their stay at a reasonable price.

Currently 230 children have access to education there (202 in Primary School and 28 in pre-school).
